Freedom VH floor-to-ceiling glazing
Balcony glazing from floor to ceiling
Bentech Freedom VH builds on the Freedom system, with construction details designed for full-height balcony glazing.
Make the most of a panoramic view behind an open railing, or create an elegant glazed enclosure for a ground-floor space.
A distinctive construction approach
Bentech full-height balcony front elements are manufactured in the workshop as complete units, 2,400–2,800 mm high, covering an entire balcony front or side.
The system creates column-like connections at balcony corners, while the lower infill panels can be customised to suit the building. Designed for sliding-window glazing, it can also be adapted for frameless balcony glazing.
Connections to the balcony slab edges are designed to address smoke, water and ventilation requirements, subject to project specifications. They also accommodate dimensional and vertical variations between slabs.
Workshop quality. Efficient installation.
Producing the elements in the workshop gives close control over quality and finish before they reach site. Prefabrication supports fast, predictable installation with less weather-sensitive work on site.
Installation
The elements are installed from climbing platforms or fixed scaffolding. On a project in Berlin, up to 44 large glazed balconies were installed per week.
