Hotel Tylösand – roof open
A glass roof that opens up to summer
Hotel Tylösand sits beside the beach outside Halmstad, bringing together accommodation, spa, restaurants, art and music. At its Solgården venue, we installed an Un-insulated retractable glass roof with 86% of the roof area able to open.
The roof makes it easy to adapt the setting to the weather. Open it for fresh air and a summer atmosphere in the sunshine. Close it when rain arrives so guests can keep enjoying the moment beneath the glass.
Per Gessle – co-owner of Hotel Tylösand
Per Gessle, known for Gyllene Tider and international success with Roxette, co-owns Hotel Tylösand with Björn Nordstrand. They took over the hotel in 1995, and Gessle’s passion for music, art and cars has given it a distinctive character.
The hotel also hosts The Joyride Car Collection, a permanent exhibition featuring part of Per and Åsa Gessle’s exclusive car collection, particularly rare, limited-edition Ferrari models.
