A retractable glass roof at the heart of summer in Båstad

Beside the harbour and beach in Båstad, Pepe’s Bodega is an iconic venue combining dining, a bar and summer entertainment. Since opening in 1991, it has become a familiar part of Båstad summers, especially during the tennis weeks. Its name comes from the classic film Sällskapsresan from 1980.

We installed an Un-insulated retractable glass roof over the street-facing dining area. It preserves the airy feel of an outdoor terrace in fine weather while providing shelter from rain whenever needed.
